Math Practice Online

Free Math Practice Online for Teachers

Everything on this site is free, requires no student accounts, and works in any browser on any device. Share a link to any practice page and students are practicing in seconds — no IT setup, no app downloads, no permission forms.

How to Use This in Your Classroom

1

Warm-up drills

Open the Arithmetic Speed Drill at the start of class. 60 seconds, any mix of operations. Project on the board for a whole-class drill, or send the link to students for individual pacing.

2

Targeted skill practice

Share a direct link to any specific skill — like the 7 times table or 2-digit addition with carrying. Students practice only the skill you assign without navigating the rest of the site.

3

Printable worksheets

Use Math Worksheets to generate randomized problems and print a class set in under a minute. Each worksheet includes a Print Answer Key button for fast grading. Great for morning work, homework, or centers.

4

Differentiated practice

Every operation has multiple difficulty levels. Share 1-digit addition with students who need foundational support and 2-digit addition with carrying with those ready for a challenge — same site, different URLs.

Grade-Level Practice Guide

Kindergarten – Grade 1

1-Digit Addition & Subtraction

Build number sense and fact fluency within 20. 1-Digit Addition and 1-Digit Subtraction are the core tools for this grade band.

Grade 2

2-Digit Addition & Subtraction with Regrouping

Progress to multi-digit arithmetic. 2-Digit Addition (No Carrying) first, then with Carrying. Same progression for subtraction.

Grade 3

Multiplication & Division Facts

The key fluency year. Start times tables one at a time, then move to mixed multiplication facts and division facts.

Grades 4–5

Fluency & Division with Remainders

Solidify all operations and tackle division with remainders. The Arithmetic Speed Drill is ideal for fluency assessment at this level.

Why No Login Required

Login walls are the biggest friction point for classroom math tools. This site was built specifically to remove that friction. Students open a link and they're practicing — no account creation, no password reset emails, no parent permission forms for data collection.

Progress is stored in each student's browser automatically. There's no teacher dashboard (by design), but students can check their own Progress page anytime to see scores, streaks, and session history.

No personal data is collected — not from students and not from teachers. The site works on school Chromebooks, shared classroom computers, iPads, and personal devices without any IT configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this site require student accounts or logins?

No accounts, no logins, no setup. Students open any page and start practicing immediately. Teachers can share a direct link to any topic and students are in without any friction.

How can I use the Arithmetic Speed Drill in my classroom?

The Speed Drill runs for 60 seconds and counts every correct answer. Project it on a whiteboard and have the class answer together, or let students work individually on their devices. It works as a warm-up, a cool-down activity, or a quick assessment of fluency progress.

Can I print worksheets for students who don't have devices?

Yes. Every worksheet page has a Generate button that creates 12 randomized problems and a Print Worksheet button for a clean, printer-ready page. There's also a Print Answer Key button for quick grading. Each worksheet fits on a single page, just like a classroom handout.

How do I differentiate for different skill levels?

Each operation has multiple difficulty levels. For addition and subtraction, that means 1-digit facts, 2-digit without regrouping, and 2-digit with regrouping. Multiplication offers individual times tables (1–12) for targeted practice or mixed facts for broader fluency. Division offers focused divide-by pages (÷1 through ÷12) and a mixed division facts drill. Share different URLs with different students to differentiate without any special setup.

Does this align with Common Core or state math standards?

The content maps directly to K–5 arithmetic fluency standards. Kindergarten and Grade 1 cover addition and subtraction within 20. Grade 2 covers 2-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping. Grade 3 introduces multiplication and division facts, with fluency expected by end of year. Grades 4–5 reinforce fact fluency and extend to multi-step operations. The specific skills practiced here match the fluency benchmarks emphasized in most state standards and Common Core.

Is student progress saved between sessions?

Yes — scores, streaks, and session history are stored in the student's browser automatically. No account is needed. If a student clears their browser data or switches devices, their history won't carry over, but for typical daily classroom use, progress is saved reliably.

Is this site free for classroom use?

Yes, completely free. No site license, no per-student fee, no subscription. Every practice mode and every worksheet is free for any teacher, student, or parent.
